Lakelynn is a 3-year-old determined little girl whose strength inspires everyone around her. Diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy, she faces challenges that affect her walking and muscle tone, along with inflamed lungs and two holes in her heart.

But none of that dims her spirit. Lakelynn works hard every day to crawl, walk, and play — pushing through pain just to keep up with her siblings and join in on the fun.

Her dream was to visit Disney World with her family and stay at Give Kids the World Village, where she experienced the magic, joy, and freedom every child deserves.

The Dream Connection is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting children battling life-threatening or debilitating illnesses with the resources to enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
