From his mom: “When Andi was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma on April 8, 2024, we had never even heard of The Dream Connection. Shortly after her diagnosis, we were told that Andi would be eligible for a “dream” experience through this incredible organization.
At first, Andi’s imagination ran wild. She dreamed of Hawaii, Disney World, and New York City, but after enduring two surgeries, months of chemotherapy, and facing significant mobility challenges, she ultimately chose a cruise. And not just any cruise—the biggest cruise ship in the world, the Icon of the Seas.
Words can’t fully capture Andi’s excitement as we counted down the days.
During fall break this year, her dream finally came true. Watching her experience pure joy again was beyond anything I could have imagined. She went down waterslides, spent hours swimming and shopping, watched amazing shows, indulged in delicious food, and enjoyed all the ice cream she could possibly eat.
