In May, Ayven was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare and aggressive brain tumor. We are so grateful he was able to experience this dream trip and create beautiful memories with his family! His mom said it best:
“The stay at Give Kids the World Village was beyond our expectations. It was like staying in a fairy tale, with so much to do. The volunteers were so helpful, it was truly a great experience. Ayven really loved the Wizarding World at Universal and getting to use his wand. He really loved the butterbeer! His excitement at seeing Super Nintendo World was so fun to see. He rode every ride he was big enough to get on and we had fun filled days every single day of our trip. He rode on a Banshee in the Avatar world at Animal Kingdom! He also rode a horse at GKTW Village, and we got on an airboat and saw some alligators to end our trip. It really was a dream vacation!”
We’re so thankful for Give Kids the World Village, the volunteers, and everyone who helped make this unforgettable adventure possible for Ayven and his family.
