The Dream Connection’s annual Superhero 5k will be Saturday, September 23rd.
This year’s race will feature a NEW LOCATION! The race will take place along the Ten Mile Creek Greenway. It will begin at Carmike Wynnsong 16 at 200 North Peters Rd where participants will enter onto the greenway. There will be chip timing. The course is relatively flat and runs east out and back on the Ten Mile Creek Greenway. WALKERS WELCOME! The race will begin at 9 am. Family friendly activities will take place in the staging area. Come celebrate with our Dream Kids and their families the hope that dreams give to children facing life-threatening or chronically debilitating illnesses. The theme is SUPERHEROES and superhero attire is encouraged but not required. Prizes for best individual and best team costume, as well as largest team.
